Curious what the Foundation does?  Read This

The NSS Foundation has a vision – of Northern grads reaching back to Northern to mentor, recognize student talent and drive an inspiring transmission of ideas and experiences.

In 2021, we connected Northern art students with successful alumni in the art and design world. Alum took the time to inspire students, share professional insights and deepen student understanding of pathways to success. Armed with rave reviews from students and teachers, we promise more of this in more subject areas in the year ahead !
The Foundation’s Instagram feed is full of alumni spotlights, inspiring students and NSS nostalgia. A recent highlight: a number of alumni came together in 2022 to honour drama teacher Debbie Barton-Moore with a scholarship in her name – $1500 will now go, each year, to an NSS grad who has had a lasting impact on the drama dep't and who will continue in the Dramatic Arts.
NSSF Scholarship Application season is underway. Discover the 40+ scholarships and awards on offer. Students – apply now! We are grateful to alumni, parents and former teachers who  generously fund all of our scholarships and awards.
Another year of overseeing NSSF Scholarships and awarding Grants to NSS students has passed. We were especially proud to be at Commencement for the Class of 2024 where we gave out scholarships in front of a full house at at Convocation Hall. Discover the 40+ scholarships and awards
