This award was established by the Risk family in 2009 to honour Kris Risk, a former student at Northern Secondary School who passed away April 2, 2008.
Kris was involved in numerous school activities during her time at Northern, winning awards for both athletics and school participation.
This award is to be presented to two graduating students, one female and one male, who will be pursuing their education at the post secondary level. The recipients must demonstrate overall participation in school activities, athletics and community life during their time at Northern.
