Northern's Locker Murals Are a Visual Extravaganza Part II

If you haven’t been inside Northern since the mid 1990s, you probably haven’t seen the school’s incredible locker murals. There are legends about how it all got started, but the school's three floors are now full of sprawling murals. This is Part II in a series – the first photos essay is here.

Matt Kassirer NSS'95 is a creative director, UX designer, photoshop artist and tech entrepreneur who advises, writes and designs for boutique travel, medical tech, venture capital, as well as ambitious creators and champions of public education. Matt had many gifted teachers at Northern, where he indulged his love of art, politics and history. In his final year at Northern, he was SAC President and loved his team. Matt calls Halifax home, but makes sure to return to Toronto a few times a year to connect with all the humans.
